I have been living in NC for the past 12 years having moved from Wenham, MA. In 2008 I started transporting unwanted puppies/dogs up to the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions to be adopted out. I’ve cared for hundreds of dogs/puppies, providing me with an in depth knowledge concerning what really contributes to a happy, healthy dog. I’ve worked with a wonderful trainer, read numerous dog related books, magazines/videos expanding the way I see, feel and understand man’s best friend. I’ve come to intimately know dogs through my heart not just with my mind.
There are two basic ways of knowing. Through the intellect (mind) and through emotional intelligence which I’ll call heart wisdom I’ve shifted towards an intuitive heartfelt way of being in the world. This has been facilitated through years (12+) of contemplative practices, seminars reading/video and weekly group activities.
I could never have imagined how my relationship with these wonderful creatures would evolve. Dog’s are the embodiment of unconditional love, child like play and instinctual desire to please us and share our lives. Love is central to who they are and we can connect and tap into that love as well as love for ourselves and all life. This seminar is a marriage between a greater understanding who the dog is, who you are and how this knowledge can expand and enrich the quality of our lives.
From this expanded awareness arises my increased respect and love for these fascinating wonderful creatures and all life. There is nothing like a Heart to Heart connection. This is what I want you to know!
